How the Calculator Works

This Air Force PT Calculator uses official USAF Fitness Assessment scoring tables to calculate your physical fitness score. Select your sex and age group, choose your preferred events, and enter your performance values for real-time scoring.

The calculator instantly computes your score for each component and provides your overall category (Excellent, Satisfactory, or Unsatisfactory). The total score is out of 100 points, distributed across four components: Cardiorespiratory Fitness (50 pts), Body Composition (20 pts), Muscular Fitness (15 pts), and Core Endurance (15 pts).

Official USAF Scoring Standards

The Air Force Physical Fitness Assessment scoring is based on official USAF standards that account for age and sex. Each component has a maximum point value, and members must achieve a minimum composite score of 75 points to pass.

Component Scoring

  • Cardiorespiratory (2-mile run or HAMR): 50 pts
  • Body Composition (WHtR): 20 pts
  • Muscular Fitness (Push-ups): 15 pts
  • Core Endurance (Sit-ups/Plank/Crunch): 15 pts

Composite Categories

  • Excellent: 90.0 points or higher
  • Satisfactory: 75.0 - 89.9 points
  • Unsatisfactory: Below 75.0 points
